On Thursday, the fourth round matches of the UEFA Europa League were played in the A-L groups.
In group A, victories were celebrated by the clubs "Borussia Monchengladbach" and "Zurich". Currently, "Gladbach" team remains in the first place, while "Villarreal" occupies the second position.
In group C, London's "Tottenham" defeated "Asteras Tripolis" with a score of 1-2, and Istanbul's "Besiktas" also won against Belgrade's "Partizan" with the same result.
The "Inter" clubs were unable to secure a victory against "Saint-Etienne" and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. "Inter" confidently sits in the first place with 8 points in group F.
The tournament winners "Sevilla" players at home defeated "Standard Liege" with a score of 3-1, Liverpool's "Everton" easily overcame "Lille", and "Wolfsburg" humiliated "Krasnodar" players with a 5-1 victory.
The fourth round was not successful for Lithuanian clubs. With a score of 0-2, the injured Luka Spalvis' "Aalborg" lost, and Giedrius Arlauskas' Bucharest's "Steaua" played a draw against "Rio Ave".
