London's "Chelsea" club will have to beat the "Basel" team for the first time in history on their way to the UEFA Europa League final. This was revealed on Friday when the semi-final draws were made.

It will not be the first time that the Swiss team will visit London: in the quarterfinals, "Basel" defeated "Tottenham" after a dramatic battle and a penalty shootout on Thursday. Meanwhile, "Chelsea" convincingly defeated Kazan's "Rubin" from Russia.

In the other pair competing for a ticket to the final are Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" and Lisbon's "Benfica". In the quarterfinals, the Turkish team managed to overcome Rome's "Lazio", while "Benfica" defeated "Newcastle".

The first leg of the semi-finals in Basel and Istanbul will take place on April 25, while the return legs in Lisbon and London will be on May 2.
