On Saturday, not only the Lithuanian national team played their qualifying match for the European Championship.
Future Lithuanian Tuesday opponents, the Hungarians, also tested their strength - they had to compete against Montenegro's team.
The match in Montenegro ended in a tough 0:0 draw. The guests had a territorial advantage (65 percent ball possession against 35), but they failed to turn it into serious chances.
The Hungarians only managed to hit the goal once, while the hosts did it three times.
In that match, the Montenegrins received four yellow cards, while the Hungarian team was penalized twice.
Meanwhile, the fifth team in the group - Serbia - played friendly matches on Friday. Their opponents were the Jordanian national team, whom the Serbs managed to defeat only at the end of the match.
Jordan was leading 2:1 for some time, but then Dejan Joveljič scored two late goals (in the 83rd and 90+4 minutes) and secured a 3:2 victory for Serbia.
On Tuesday, the Lithuanians will face the Hungarians, Bulgaria will test Serbia, and Montenegro will play against the Czech Republic in a friendly match.
