At 19:00 Lithuanian time, the UEFA Champions League Group G 4th round match took place in Turkey. Passionately supported by their fans, Istanbul's "Besiktas" faced off against "Monaco". The confident Turkish team, leading the group, achieved a 1-1 draw. From the very beginning of the match, there was a fierce battle on the field, but neither team managed to score a quick goal. Just before the end of the first half, "Monaco" finally scored - Rony Lopes with a great shot beat the opponents' goalkeeper and put the guests from Monaco ahead. However, in the second half, "Besiktas" quickly equalized - in the 54th minute a penalty was awarded at "Monaco"'s goal, which was successfully converted by Cenk Tosun. Neither team scored any more goals for the rest of the time and the match ended in a draw, which satisfied the Turkish champions.
