In the latest world team ranking announced by FIFA, Lithuania has risen seven positions and now occupies the 111th place. In one month, Lithuania earned 29 ranking points.

In the ranking, the World Champion Brazil national team continues to lead, with the French team in second place. Argentina's national team moved up to third from fourth, surpassing the future opponents of the Lithuanian national team, the Spaniards.

Even with a seven-position rise, Lithuanians still lag far behind the other Baltic states. Latvia dropped three places in the ranking and is now in 63rd place, while Estonia, having risen four places, is in 77th place.

Our rivals in the World Cup qualifiers, Belgium, are in 35th place, San Marino is in 167th, Serbia is in 55th place, and Bosnia is 81st. Meanwhile, the European champions Greece have fallen to 16th place.
