The final in Abu Dhabi was successful for the host of the 2022 World Cup - Qatar defeated Japan 3:1 and became the continental champion for the first time in the country's history.
After the first half, the Qatari team already had a two-goal advantage - A. Almoez and A. Hatim scored the goals.
In the second half, Japan narrowed the gap, but in the 83rd minute, Qatar converted a penalty kick and sealed the deal in this final.
Qatar reached the final by defeating the UAE in the semifinals, while Japan beat Iran.
