In the first half dominated "Real" returns from "Camp Nou" with a draw.

On Wednesday evening, the postponed 10th round of matches in the Spanish "La Liga" championship took place. It was exceptional - the players from Barcelona and Real Madrid clashed arms at the Camp Nou stadium. After intense competition, the winner did not emerge - neither team scored, and the match ended in a draw. This result means that both teams remain at the top of the league table - both Barca and Real have 36 points each. Barcelona holds a slightly higher position only due to a slightly better goal difference. The start of the match looked promising for the Madrid team - the "whites" confidently played with the ball and early on posed dangerous threats towards the penalty area. Karim Benzema had a great opportunity to score at the beginning of the match - the Frenchman redirected the ball towards the Catalan goal after a corner, but Gerard Pique at the goal line saved the hosts. In the first half, Real Madrid made quite a few dangerous long-range shots - Casemiro and Federico Valverde forced Marc-Andre ter Stegen to sweat. Despite clear dominance from the Madrid team, Barcelona also had their chances. Lionel Messi was closest to scoring, but Sergio Ramos was in the right place at the right time to block his shot. In the second half, Barcelona spent more time in Real's half. The visitors began to feel some fatigue, affecting the quality of their game. In the 74th minute, Real sent the ball towards Barcelona's goal, but the hosts were saved by a crucial clearance from Ferland Mendy, who made a great pass to Gareth Bale. Later on, both teams failed to create real opportunities and the match ended in a peaceful draw. This was the first time since 2002 that Barcelona and Real played a goalless draw.
