For football fans who decided to spend a meaningful Friday - a gift from the English Premier League. In the first 5th round match, London's Chelsea met the football players of Liverpool in front of their home crowd. Playing at the fortress of Stamford Bridge, the "Blues" could not recover from the drawn match of the previous round - Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool club defeated the hosts 1-2. From the very first minutes of the match, there was a real battle and fast-paced football on the field. In the 2nd minute, Daniel Sturridge broke away from the defenders and took a dangerous shot at Thibaut Courtois' goal, but the Belgian national team goalkeeper, despite an uncertain save, did not allow an early goal. In the first 10 minutes, both teams attacked from one end of the field to the other, but no dangerous chances were created. Finally, in the 17th minute, the "Reds" fans received a "gift" from the Chelsea defenders, as some opponents left several Liverpool players behind and Dejan Lovren accurately finished off a great pass from Coutinho. The score became 0-1 in favor of the visitors. After the missed goal, the game did not change and both teams aggressively attacked each other's goals. In the 34th minute, David Luiz attempted to score with a header from a lifted ball by Willian, but the shot did not hit the target. Just two minutes later, the second goal fell into T. Courtois' goal, and probably one of the most beautiful this season. Jordan Henderson stopped the ball from about 30 meters and performed a "cannon shot" that pierced the Chelsea goalkeeper's net. The second half started again with active attacks from both teams. The Chelsea players attacked the Liverpool goal many times, and in the 61st minute, they scored their first goal when Diego Costa scored after a great Nemanja Matic's pass. In the 65th minute, the same D. Costa had another good chance, but Simon Mignolet reacted to the Spaniard's shot once again. The pace later dropped, but in the 81st minute, Divock Origi could have put the final point. However, T. Courtois reacted fantastically to the compatriot's header. In the remaining time, A. Conte threw three new players onto the field, but they could not save Chelsea from defeat and the match ended with Liverpool's victory with a score of 2-1. With this victory, the Liverpool club equaled points with the Liverpool Everton and also Chelsea. Result: Chelsea 1 - 2 Liverpool 17' [0 - 1] D. Lovren 36' [0 - 2] J. Henderson 61' [1 - 2] D. Costa
