Wales national team confidently defeated the Turkish national team with a score of 2:0 at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan, significantly increasing their chances to advance to the knockout stage. Both teams had good opportunities at the beginning of the first half, with Aaron Ramsey and Burak Yilmaz having chances, however, they failed to capitalize on them. Ramsey had a perfect opportunity in the 24th minute, but his shot went too high. Later, he scored in the 43rd minute after receiving a pass from Gareth Bale. Bale missed a penalty in the 61st minute, and Wales struggled to score again, but eventually Connor Roberts sealed the victory with another goal. The Welsh team now has 4 points, almost securing their place in the next round. On the other hand, the Turkish team needs to improve in the next match to avoid an early exit from the tournament.
