Cristiano Ronaldo did not win the "Ballon d'Or" or FIFA Best Player awards, but the achievements of the 33-year-old Portuguese were recognized by the EEFA (European Players' Agent Association) and ECA (European Club Association).
At their annual "Globe Soccer" awards, C.Ronaldo, who plays for Turin's "Juventus" club, was chosen as the best player of the year.
He surpassed Madrid's "Atletico" team striker Antoine Griezmann and another Frenchman from the "Paris Saint-Germain" club Kylian Mbappe in these awards.
At these awards, the best coach of the year was recognized as Didier Deschamps, who led the French national team to triumph in the World Cup in Russia, and the best team of the year was chosen as Madrid's "Atletico".
