Such rumors began to spread among fans when they saw Dutch players Cody Gakpo and Virgil Van Dijk standing next to a festive tree on social media.
According to fans, this means that the "Reds" are scouting among players from that country for a potential new recruit.
“In the photo - two Dutch players. Perhaps this is a hint that Jeremie Frimpong or Mats Weifferis will be invited in January?” - wrote one fan.
“A wrapped gift and players? - another fan speculated about the club's plans.
