In the 8th round of the "TOPsport A Lyga" tournament, the Kaunas district team "Hegelmann" visited Marijampolė, where they managed to defeat the local team "Sūduva". The only goal was scored by Stevas Kingue, securing his team's fourth victory in the championship - the match ended with a score of 1:0 (1:0).

In the middle of the half, Njoya Kader stood out in a fast attack, but although he managed to get the ball past the goalkeeper, the attempt was inaccurate.

After playing for a little over half an hour, Leo Ribeiro sent the ball towards Patrick Popescu, who made a quick shot in the penalty area, easily handled by Giedrius Zenkevičius.

Towards the end of the first half, the visitors launched an attack - L. Ribeiro took a dangerous shot, Domantas Antanavičius attacked from a distance, and in another episode, after a corner kick lifted by Artiom Ščedro, Stevas Kingue found space and sent the ball to the top corner of the goal, changing the score in favor of his team.

In the 70th minute, P. Popescu found himself among several opponents and managed to take a shot from a difficult situation, but the ball hit the top of the goal structure. In the 76th minute, P. Popescu repeated the attack - immediately after receiving a pass from A. Ščedro during a set piece, the player found the back of the net again.

After securing this victory in the 8th round of the "TOPsport A Lyga" tournament, the players wearing blue and white jerseys climbed to the second position in the tournament table with 14 points, while Dovydas Lastauskas' team is in sixth place with 9 points.
