Seville derby in the 13th round of the "La Liga" tour was very intense.
Even with three red cards marked, the match between "Real Betis" and "Sevilla" ended peacefully - 1:1.
The first red card was shown in the 38th minute. After a VAR review, Gonzalo Montiel's yellow card was changed to a red one for a foul.
Soon after, "Real Betis" took the lead with a curious own goal by "Sevilla."
However, Manuel Pellegrini's players managed to complicate their situation. In extra time of the first half, Nabil Fekir was sent off for unsportsmanlike behavior.
The third VAR review was needed at the beginning of the second half when another "Betis" player Borja Iglesias was sent off for a rough foul in the middle of the field.
Finally, in the 81st minute, Nemanja Gudelj equalized for "Sevilla" with a fantastic strike. The Serbian had opportunities to secure a victory, but once hit the crossbar and another time his shot was saved by Claudio Bravo.
With this result, "Real Betis" remains in the top four, while "Sevilla" temporarily climbs out of the bottom three.
