In the highly productive German Cup final - another "Bayern" triumph © JumpStory

On Saturday, the final of the German cup took place, where the teams of Munich "Bayern" and Leverkusen "Bayer" met. In a very productive match, the Munich team proved their superiority by winning with a score of 4:2 and celebrated this trophy for the 20th time in the club's history. "Bayern" took the lead in the 16th minute of the match, when David Alaba perfectly converted a penalty kick, and just eight minutes later, the German champions doubled their lead through Serge Gnabry. In the 59th minute, the "Bayer" goalkeeper made a very clumsy mistake trying to catch the ball shot by Robert Lewandowski, and it slipped into the goal. In the 63rd minute, Sven Bender revived the intrigue a bit, but in the 89th minute, the same R. Lewandowski secured Bayern's victory. At the end of the match, Kai Havertz's penalty kick did not change the essence of the situation, and Bayern won the German cup for the second consecutive year.
