In the French championship, the fight for the title has long been over, but a serious battle is simmering elsewhere: for a place in the Champions League next season. At the moment, the main candidates to occupy 2 out of the 3 places are the teams from "Marseille", "Rennes", and "Nice". It was the latter team that clashed last Saturday. "Nice" and "Rennes" separated peacefully with a score of 1:1. In the 67th minute, the goal was scored by Nice's forward Andy Delort, and in the 78th minute, the visitors from Rennes responded with a goal from their forward Martin Terrier. After these draw matches, "Rennes" briefly surpassed the "Marseille" team in the league table. "Nice" remains in fourth place.
