In the Kaunas derby - victory of "Žalgiris

In the 11th round of the "TOPsport A League", the Kaunas derby took place, in which "Kauno Žalgiris" returned to the path of victories, defeating Kaunas district team "Hegelmann" with a score of 1:0 (1:0).

In the 7th minute, Artūras Dolžnikovas and Gratas Sirgėdas duo posed a threat, but the blue and white team showed good defense, and later Armandas Kučys attempted a shot on goal. In the 24th minute, the Žalgiris team could have scored after a corner, but Vincentas Šarkauskas blocked Maxime Spano Rahou's shot.

After a little more than half an hour, Matias Rale won the duel and headed the ball, which landed next to the goal post.

However, the green and white team turned the result in their favor in the 40th minute, when G. Sirgėdas made a run on the right side, and after his pass, A. Kučys scored.
