Last week, Osvaldas Čipkus and Tadas Kondratavičius, who joined the "Riteriai" training, remain in the club and today they will seek victory with the B team in the matches of the first league. Eighteen-year-old legionnaire from Nigeria, Godwin Bright Osuoha, also signed a contract with these twenty-year-olds. The latter arrived in Lithuania before the quarantine was announced in our country. "All these players have tremendous potential. Our goal is to provide them with opportunities to improve, and their goal is to take advantage of all the powers given. A similar situation like with all our other young players," said "Riteriai" director Virmantas Lemežis about the newcomers. G. Osuoha came to "Riteriai" on a rental basis. He belongs to the highest league club in Belgium, "Kortrijk," where Terem Moffi left a few months ago.
T. Kondratavičius's career started at the "Tauras" school in Kaunas. Later, the defender went to England. The third newcomer O. Čipkus started last season in the "Žalgiris B" team, but in the summer he moved to the "Benidorm CD" club in Spain. "Joining Riteriai means that I have joined an organization where there is an excellent environment for a young player to improve. Since there are experienced players in the team, the youth must give themselves fully in every training session. This way, there is a chance to get playing time in the A league," said O. Čipkus, unable to hide his joy.
"Riteriai B" will start the season the day before yesterday at 19:00 in Šiauliai, while the main team will play against Gargždai's "Banga" on Sunday at 17:00 at the LFF stadium."
