Played last Europa League quarter-final matches. "Sevilla" after a tough battle defeated "Wolves" team 1:0. The majority of the match was dominated by the Spaniards, however, in the 13th minute of the match "Wolves" forward R. Jimenez failed to convert a penalty from 11 meters. However, the first goal of the match fell only in the 88th minute, scored by "Sevilla" forward L. Ocampos. In other matches, Donetsk's "Shakhtar" easily dealt with the Basel footballers. Ukrainians celebrated a convincing 4:1 victory. The first goal of the match was scored in the second minute by J. Moraes. Taison doubled the score in the 22nd minute. Donetsk's "Shakhtar" players did not stop the pace and in the second half and in the 75th minute Alan Patrick converted a penalty from 11 meters. In the 88th minute, another team goal was added by Dodo. The Swiss team scored a consolation goal only in the second minute of added time, with R. van Wolfswinkel being the goalscorer.
The pairs of the Europa League semi-finals are already clear. The first pair became "Sevilla" against "Manchester United". The duel matches will take place on August 17th. The second semi-final pair is Milan's "Inter" against Donetsk's "Shakhtar". The matches will take place on August 16th.
