In the last "Serie A" round - three own goals and "Empoli" victory against "Napoli" (VIDEO)

On the evening, the last matches of the 33rd round of "Serie A" were played, in which "Empoli" hosted "Napoli" players who were fighting for medals.

The hosts unexpectedly celebrated victory, already leading with a three-goal advantage after the first half. Eight minutes after the first referee's whistle, Massimo Maccarone put "Empoli" in front, and just before the break, Miguel Britos scored an own goal followed by another goal from Riccardo Saponara.

Although the fate of the match was almost decided in the first 45 minutes, Rafa Benitez's players did not give up and managed to reduce the score early in the second half. However, they failed to press their opponents more, and in the 82nd minute, another "Napoli" player, Raul Albiol, scored an own goal. Marek Hamsik's goal at the end of the match did not change the situation.

After the loss, "Napoli" remains in fourth place, but now lags behind "Roma," who won yesterday, by five points. "Empoli," on the other hand, overtook "Sassuolo" and climbed to fifteenth place.
