The 22nd round of the "TOPsport A Lyga" was completed with a tough match between the teams of "Sūduva" and DFK "Dainava", who have been collecting points hard lately. The teams played 0:0 and shared a point.

In the very first minute of the match, Marijampolė's goalkeeper Giedrius Zenkevičius was forced to work after a shot by Stanislav Sorokin, and a few moments later, Sūduva's Artemas Fedorovas responded with a long-range effort.

In the first half, neither team was able to take the initiative in the field - the ball was controlled a little longer by "Dainava", but both teams lacked accuracy in their attacks. Goalkeepers G. Zenkevičius and Volodymyr Krynskis had little work.

Immediately after the break, the hosts created a dangerous counterattack - Maksymas Pyrogovas made a run into the penalty area, passed the ball after a substitution to E. Burdzilauskas in the field, whose shot was blocked by a defender.

In the 61st minute, a great opportunity arose after a corner kick towards Sūduva's goal, which ended with a powerful shot by Oskaras Lukošiūnas next to the post. A few minutes later, S. Sorokin's header was also dangerous from a set-piece.

At the very end of the match, a golden opportunity was missed as Augustas Dubickas received M. Burba's pass and found himself alone against the goalkeeper. A few moments later, Linas Zingertas also found himself in a good position, but his shot lacked power.

After 22 matches, "Sūduva" remains in last place with 21 points, while "Dainava" is seventh.
