Today started the quarterfinals of the "Coupe de la Ligue" in France. One of them saw the meeting of the teams playing in the highest division, "Nantes" and "Nancy". In their clash, the latter triumphed with a score of 2-0, with Maurice Dale and Joeffrey Cuffaut scoring the winning goals. In the other evening duel, there was almost a surprise - one of the strongest "Ligue 1" clubs, "Monaco", almost fell to "Sochaux" playing in the second league. This team managed to knock out "Marseille" in the previous round after a penalty shootout, and now they were close to victory with a goal scored by Faneva Andriatsima in the 16th minute. However, at the end of the match, Joao Moutinho managed to equalize the score, so the teams had to go to penalties immediately.
