On Tuesday, "Banga" in Marijampolė couldn't hold against "Sūduva" - 1:3.
The hosts took the initiative from the first minute, but for a long time the attacks of the Marijampolė team did not pose a serious threat to the visiting team.
Nevertheless, the goal in the "Banga" net came before the end of the first half.
In the 21st minute, after a contact between V. Myrnyi and T. Elioshia in the "Banga" penalty area, the referee pointed to the eleven-meter mark. R. Ledesma took advantage of the chance given and the hosts took the lead.
Later the game leveled out and "Banga" was even a bit more active, but there were no shots on the opponent's goal, so the result did not change.
The second half started well for the Gargždai team - after a pass from E. Grigaičio, G. Nikabadze accurately shot from the penalty area.
However, luck turned away from "Banga" midway through the half. In the 66th minute, P. Lukšys broke away from V. Myrnyi and the hosts once again took the lead, and just three minutes later, the Marijampolė team's forward scored for the second time. Despite the efforts of both teams, the result did not change.
