The young Barcelona talent Lamine Yamalis is demonstrating great character.

Yesterday, in a 4-0 victory in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal match against Borussia Dortmund, the 17-year-old talent showcased an unusual act.

As the match was approaching its end, L. Yamalis asked head coach Hansi Flick to make a substitution.

The forward was neither injured nor particularly tired; he wanted the fading talent Ansu Fati to have a rare opportunity to shine.

H. Flick did not oppose such a decision and substituted the 22-year-old forward onto the field in the 86th minute.
