In the English "Premier" League, the first 18th round matches were played on Saturday afternoon.
At "Goodison Park" stadium, for the last time, temporary coaches led the Liverpool "Everton" and London "Arsenal" teams. Neither coach was able to triumphantly exit - the match ended in a goalless draw.
From the very beginning of the match, the teams showed willingness and aggression on the field, but clearly lacked quality in the penalty area - "Arsenal" did not even make a single shot towards the goal in the first half.
The second half was also quite dull and the teams shared a point each.
"Arsenal" at least temporarily moved up to the ninth position, while "Everton" to the 15th.
From the next round, the teams will be led by different coaches: Mikel Arteta will take over the reins of the "Gunners", while Carlo Ancelotti will lead "Everton".
