Goal.com announces that "Manchester City" is one step away from acquiring Birmingham's "Aston Villa" midfielder Fabian Delph.
The Englishman will move to Manchester for 11 million euros and sign a long-term contract, earning 140,000 euros per week.
It is reported that Delph will be given similar chances to establish himself in the starting lineup as another former "Villa" player, James Milner, who moved to "Liverpool" earlier.
The midfielder's contract with his current club was set to expire this summer, but after extending it in January, "Man City" will have to pay the agreed buyout fee. However, it is only 11 million euros, so the "Cityzens" will not face major difficulties.
Timo Sherwood's team is already looking for a replacement for Delph. It is expected to be Senegal national team player and "Lille" representative Idrissa Gueye.
