“Manchester United” was very close to escaping defeat, but “Fulham” scored a crucial goal in the last minutes.

In the battle of Manchester and London clubs, “Fulham” footballers triumphed 2:1.

In the first half, the “Red Devils” played very sluggishly. The visitors from London had the initiative in their hands and created opportunities, once hitting the goal frame with Rodrigo Muniz controlling the ball perfectly.

After the break, the situation did not change much, and in the 65th minute Calvin Bassey put “Fulham” ahead. He scored with a shot after a corner.

In the 89th minute, Harry Maguire seemed to have saved “Man Utd” from defeat. However, that was not the end of this game. In the 7th minute of added time, Alex Iwobi scored a goal, who had missed several good opportunities to score earlier in the match.

After this victory, “Fulham” further solidifies its position in the middle of the league table, while “Man Utd” missed the opportunity to catch up to “Tottenham” in points. In these matches, Erik ten Hag's pupils played without Rasmus Hojlund, and instead, academy graduate Omari Forson started.

Other results:

“Aston Villa” 4:2 “Nottingham Forest”

“Brighton” 1:1 “Everton”

“Crystal Palace” 3:0 “Burnley”
