Next year will mark the end of the long-term sponsorship agreement between the company "Adidas" and the "Man Utd" team.
As reported by the "Telegraph", both parties have already agreed on a new contract, but it will include a special condition.
It is said that the clothing manufacturers have decided to hedge against possible team failures.
The new contract will stipulate that each time the "Man Utd" team fails to qualify for the Champions League tournament, they will incur a fine of £10 million.
In total, sponsors intend to transfer £90 million to the team per season.
