On Saturday, the 4th round of the English Premier League began, with eight matches being played.
Arguably the most interesting match took place at the "Emirates" stadium, where London's "Arsenal" clashed with the footballers of "Manchester City". In the second half, the excellent performance of Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez did not bring victory to the "Gunners", ending in a 2-2 draw.
From the very beginning of the match, Arsene Wenger's disciples started dominating and demonstrated good gameplay, but the English champions got their chance.
In the 28th minute, the visitors took the lead with a goal from striker Sergio Aguero, assisted by Jesus Navas. There were dangerous moments in the remaining time of the first half, but the score stayed 0-1.
In the second half, the London eleven once again tried to impose their game rules on their opponents. In the 63rd minute, Jack Wilshere equalized, beating Joe Hart.
Another "Arsenal" goal was not long in coming - after 11 minutes, for the first time in these matches, the hosts were brought forward by Alexis Sanchez, with an assist from the shining J. Wilshere.
However, after the goal, the "Man City" players did not give in and began to press the opponents. The first bad news for A. Wenger was Mathieu Debuchy's injury, and after that, a goal was missed.
In the 83rd minute, the opponents from Manchester were awarded a corner, and defender Martin Demichelis beat the opponents' goalkeeper. In the remaining time, "Arsenal" did not create dangerous opportunities, but their opponents hit the crossbar twice. Nevertheless, the final score remained 2-2.
