In the Outsiders' Match, Panevėžys defeated the Alytus Dainava club.

Alytaus DFK "Dainava" faced off against "Panevėžys" in the 7th round of the "TOPsport A League". The guests, having equalized the goal deficit, defeated the Alytus team with a score of  3:1 (2:1) and ended their cycle of unsuccessful matches.

The match started successfully for Dainava when Abdoulas Dante fouled Denis Ževžikov in the penalty area; Artiomas Baftalovskis, taking the penalty from 11 meters, didn't miss. Very soon, Ernestas Veliulis had the opportunity to equalize the score, but the ball hit the goalpost.

Panevėžys turned the game around in just a few moments - the first goal came in the 26th minute when Pavle Radunovičius scored after E. Veliulis's pass, and just a minute later, Salomonas Kouadio took advantage of the large spaces to also find the net.

E. Veliulis increased the lead, scoring during a quick attack after an excellent pass from Fausto Steponavičius. In the 74th minute, Francis Eusebio Mbaki had his chance in the penalty area, but a self-sacrificing defense from Roko Rasimavičius bore fruit. In the 80th minute, Marko Pavlovskis' penalty was stopped by Vytautas Černiauskas.

In the final minutes, F. Mbaki had another great opportunity, but his shot went straight into the opposing goalkeeper. However, Airidas Mickevičius kept his team safe from another conceded goal when he blocked Kwadwo Asamoah's path.

After the 7th round of the "TOPsport A League", "Panevėžys" climbed to 8th place in the table with 7 points, while "Dainava" remains at the bottom with just 1 point.
