On Wednesday, the matches of the second day of the fifth UEFA Champions League round were played in European stadiums. Three clubs - Eindhoven's "PSV", "Milan", and "Barcelona" secured their place in the round of 16, while Glasgow "Celtic", "Shakhtar", and "Rosenborg" bid farewell to the tournament. So, seven spots are still up for grabs, which means that in the final round, twelve teams will compete.

Only one goal was scored in Group H, and it was by Benni McCarthy in the match against "CSKA" in Moscow. Deividas Šemberas' team could have equalized, but they failed to convert a penalty kick for the second time in a row. "Chelsea" lost their first points, drawing with "PSG", and the Parisian team now has the same points as defending champions "Porto" and one more than the team from Moscow. So, in two weeks, all three teams will compete for the last remaining spot in the round of 16.
