On Thursday, the Conference League match between "Slovacko" and "Koln" was postponed due to poor weather conditions.
The postponed match due to smoke was concluded on Friday. The visitors from Cologne defeated the Czech club 1-0.
Steffen Baumgart's team did not stand out too much in the game, but they managed to secure a victory. Ondrej Duda scored from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute.
After this match, the situation in Group D is becoming more interesting. In the final round, group leaders "Nice" will play against the "Koln" team.
"Partizan" has the same number of points as "Nice" (8) and will play against the "Slovacko" team. There is a scenario in which the Belgrade club could fail to advance to the knockout stages of the Conference League, but it is most likely that one of the top 5 league clubs will exit the tournament after the group stage: either "Nice" or "Koln".
"Slovacko" lost their chance to move on to the next stage of the Conference League.
