On Thursday, in the postponed matches of the Spanish championship, a victory was won by Pamplona's "Osasuna" after John Aloisi scored a goal in the 89th minute against "Villarreal".
The visitors, "Villarreal", took the lead first, but "Osasuna" not only managed to equalize the score, but also took the lead. In the middle of the second half, "Villarreal" defender Juan Pablo Sorin equalized the score. However, the home fans joyfully left the pitch, as at the very end of the match, John Aloisi, who wanted to extend his contract with the club, scored a goal.
After this victory, "Osasuna" climbed to 13th place in the Spanish championship, while "Villarreal" only surpassed the "Valencia" club and took fifth place due to a better goal ratio.
This defeat for "Villarreal" also means that Madrid's "Real" secured at least third place in the Spanish championship.
