Roma's "Lazio" fans probably won't sleep tonight.
Maurizio Sarri's squad crushed the current Italian champions "AC Milan" at home with a 4:0 victory.
Roma's squad took the lead in the 4th minute after Sergej Milinković-Savić's accurate shot. Mattia Zaccagni doubled the score just before the end of the first half.
"AC Milan" increased the pressure at the start of the second half, but failed to convert it into goals.
However, in the 67th minute, a penalty kick awarded to the Italian champions added intrigue. Luis Alberto accurately converted the situation. Moreover, Felipe Anderson scored another goal for "Lazio" in just 8 minutes.
After this victory, "Lazio", "Inter", and "Roma" share the third place with 37 points.
