On Saturday evening, a crucial Ruhr region derby took place in Gilzenkirchen between the local "Schalke" and Dortmund's "Borussia" teams.
The match ended in a draw - 2:2.
In the 38th minute, "Borussia" took the lead after a superb strike from Nico Schlotterbeck.
In the beginning of the second half, Marius Bulter equalized the score. However, in the 60th minute, the visitors regained the lead after Raphael Guerreiro's goal.
Kenan Karaman extended the equalizer for "Schalke" in the 79th minute.
After this round, "Bayern" will have a 2-point lead at the top of the league table against the "Borussia" team.
