In the productive Liverpool derby - record-breaking victory of the "Reds" army

On Wednesday at 10:15 PM in the evening, the Liverpool derby took place in the English Premier League. In the 15th round of the league, Liverpool welcomed Everton at their stadium. In the productive city derby, the favorites of this season triumphed - the "Reds."

Just after 17 minutes, Liverpool had a two-goal lead - in the 6th minute, Divock Origi put the hosts ahead, and shortly after, Xherdan Shaqiri increased the advantage. In the 21st minute, Everton managed to narrow the gap, but in the 31st minute, Origi scored his second goal in the match, restoring the two-goal lead.

In the 45th minute, Sadio Mane scored during a quick counterattack. It seemed like a goal in that half, however, Everton managed to score another goal in added time - Richarlison directed the ball into Adrian's goal.

After an extremely productive first half, the second half saw a much quieter battle on the Anfield stadium. The only goal in the 90th minute was scored by Georginio Wijnaldum, sealing the victory for Liverpool.

After this win, Liverpool set a new club record - 32 unbeaten games in the top flight. During that time, the Reds achieved 27 victories and played five draws.

The Reds, currently in first place, maintain an 8-point lead over their closest pursuers. Everton is now in the relegation zone - 18th place. It is believed that Marco Silva's career at the club could end with this defeat.
