"Edinburgh" successfully started in the Scottish Championship. G.Burley's team beat "Kilmarnock" 4-2 in the first match and secured the first three points. Two Lithuanians played in the match - Edgaras Jankauskas played the entire game and earned a penalty kick, while Saulius Mikoliūnas was substituted in the 69th minute.

The hosts took the lead first, as early as the 12th minute Steven Naismith scored from 5 meters to beat "Hearts" goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Although "Kilmarnock" managed to reduce the score, Paul Hartley secured "Hearts" first win of the season in the penultimate minute from the penalty kick earned by Lithuanian Edgaras Jankauskas.
