Spain's national team may have to do without another midfielder - Xabi Alonso in tonight's European Championship qualifier match against Lithuania.
The footballer is suspected of having angina, so he missed the morning practice.
Doctors have not yet forbidden Alonso to play, but the final decision will only be made just before the match. In any case, there are doubts whether the Madrid "Real" attacking organizer could play the full 90 minutes.
Spain already has losses in the midfield - the main conductor Xavi will not play, one of the leaders of London's "Arsenal" Cesc Fabregas will be missing, as well as winger Pedro and striker Fernando Torres.
