In the capital of Italy on Sunday evening, one of the biggest "Serie A" championship derbies took place - the Rome derby.
After a tense battle that lasted more than an hour, the players of "Lazio" won the victory with a minimal result of 1:0.
Maurizio Sarri's team "AS Roma" was defeated by Felipe Anderson's shot in the 29th minute.
In the second half, Jose Mourinho's team tried their best to equalize the result, however, they failed to do so. Moreover, one of the team's leaders, Lorenzo Pellegrini, suffered an injury at the beginning of the half.
At the end of the match, there was a scuffle near the touchline. The conflict was provoked by "Lazio" substitute defender Stefan Radu, who pushed Rui Patricio. The "Roma" goalkeeper tried to take the ball from the defender.
After this victory, "Lazio" surpassed their city neighbors in the league standings.
