In the 22nd round of the "TOPsport A Lyga", the Žemaitija derby took place, but the goal enthusiasts did not see any goals - the fierce battle between Garždai's "Banga" and Telšiai's "Džiugas" ended in a 0:0 draw.

Ivan Baturin had to extinguish the fire near his own goal on the first attack of the match, when Gabriel Fernandes found Vilius Piliukaitis in the penalty area, Eridanas Bagužas responded with a dangerous acrobatic shot in the 19th minute.

In the second half, Mantas Bertašius defended his team from a free kick, while on the other side of the barricades, Matas Ramanauskas shot from a distance near the goal, but missed his chances along with V. Piliukaitis and Pijus Srėbalius.

After the break, P. Srėbalius headed over the goal, in the 61st minute Lukas Ankudinovas broke through several opponents and tried a strong long-range shot, but missed the target.

As the match neared its end, Nino Noordanus also got angry from a distance, but failed to score. Meanwhile, debutant Meinardas Mikulėnas had a very good opportunity - he started forward, but M. Bertašius was the first to reach the ball. In the next attack, V. Piliukaitis' shot was hindered by a free kick, but the Latvian goalkeeper demonstrated a good reaction. In added time, L. Ankudinovas received his second yellow card.

After the 22nd round of the "TOPsport A Lyga", Davido Afonso's team has 27 points and overtakes the representatives of the Sun City in 5th place, while Andrius Lipskis' team with 30 points moves up to fourth place.
