Eight players from Žalgiris are invited to the upcoming European Championship qualifying and Baltic Cup matches for the Lithuanian men's and youth national teams.
The training camp with the national men's team was started by Edvinas Gertmonas, Kipras Kažukolovas and Ovidijus Verbickas.
Lithuanians will have their European Championship qualifying match on June 17 at 16:00 at Kaunas Darius and Girėnas Stadium against the Bulgarian team, and on June 20 they will play in Hungary.
Two Žalgiris players with loan agreements representing other clubs have been invited to the youth (U-21) national team - Darius Stankevičius from Suduva and Motiejus Burba from Džiugas.
The U-21 team will play their first European U-21 Championship qualifying match against their Danish counterparts on Friday, June 16, from 18:00 in Jonava.
Romualdas Jansonas, Martynas Šetkus and Simas Civilka represent the Lithuanian U-19 youth national team in the Baltic Cup competition.
In the Lithuanian schedule, there will be a match against Latvia on June 14, a game against Finland on June 16, and a match against Estonia on June 18.
