On Tuesday evening, the first semifinal match of the English League Cup took place.
At "The Britannia" stadium, "Stoke City" met with the players of "Liverpool". Jurgen Klopp's team proved their advantage against the hosts on the away game and moved closer to the final.
The match started with the control of the "Reds" team players, but Klopp's plans were disrupted by two injuries - defenders Philip Coutinho and Dejan Lovren had to leave the game.
However, this did not prevent Jordan Ibe from scoring the winning goal in the 37th minute. The young Englishman defeated Jack Butland with a precise shot after a great pass from Joe Allen.
The second leg of the English League Cup semifinal between "Liverpool" and "Stoke City" will take place on January 26th.
