In the third BYFL season, players born in 2008 and 2009 will appear

Baltic Youth Football League (BYFL) will once again involve young players and football enthusiasts from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia starting from February.

In 2022, the established BYFL tournament, organized by the football federations of the three Baltic states, aims to provide young players with international match experience. Each country delegates 4 teams to the age division, the best performing in their national championships.

In the debut BYFL season, the Vilnius BFA U15 team triumphed, while in 2023, the champion titles were won by the Kaunas "Be1 NFA" U15 team and the Riga FS "Metta" U16 team.

Lithuania will be represented in the U15 age division by Vilnius BFA, "Kauno Žalgiris" FA, Klaipėda FM, and Marijampolė FC, and in the U16 age division by "Be1 NFA", FK "Žalgiris", Vilnius BFA, and VFA "Geležinis vilkas".

The BYFL group stage will take place in February and March, bringing football fans together at the "Kauno Žalgiris" FA arena, Marijampolė arena, Vilnius BFA arena, and Pilaitė football arena. Each group winner will earn a spot in the quarterfinal stage. The final matches are planned to be held in June.

Just like last year, the matches in Lithuania should be broadcasted directly through the futbolas.tv platform, and all match results and protocols will be announced on the league's official website baltic-league.com.
