One of the leaders of Vilnius "Žalgiris" experienced an unexpected defeat in the 17th round of the Lithuanian championship, losing 0-1 in the capital derby to Vilnius REO.
The only goal was scored in the 57th minute by defender Andrius Lipskis with a long shot.
The opportunity to increase the lead between the leaders was taken by the defending champion "Ekranas" club, who won 2-0 at home against "Atlantas".
