On Tuesday, an unpredictable match took place in Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League, where the local team Benfica hosted the famous Barcelona.

The meeting started with a bang – in the 2nd minute, V. Pavlidis brilliantly utilized a teammate's pass from the edge of the box and defeated Wojciech Szczesny (1:0).

The guests rushed to equalize, and in the 12th minute, A. Balde fell in the penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty after a VAR review. R. Lewandowski stepped up to the ball and equalized without much trouble – 1:1.

In the 22nd minute, V. Pavlidis capitalized on a mistake by W. Szczesny, who had strayed out of the goal, and once again gave Benfica the advantage (2:1). Moreover, the Pole soon fouled an opponent in the penalty area, and V. Pavlidis accurately converted the awarded penalty – 3:1.

In the 68th minute, R. Araujo poorly executed his play in a chaotic situation near the goal – 4:2.

In the 78th and 86th minutes, R. Lewandowski (penalty) and E. Garcia equalized the score (4:4). With seconds left in the match, Raphinha became the hero by scoring a goal in a quick counterattack – 4:5.
