The French national team will be missing one of their key players this summer.
Defender Lucas Hernandez suffered an injury in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Borussia Dortmund. It was later revealed that the injury is very serious.
It is reported that the 28-year-old Frenchman tore his cruciate ligament in his left knee. Due to this injury, he will be forced to miss the European Championship and possibly even the rest of the year without playing football.
This is the second such injury in L. Hernandez's career. He also withdrew from a World Cup match in 2022 due to a knee injury.
