On Saturday in Kaunas, the second round of the Lithuanian senior (60+) small football championship was played.
This round was notable for the fact that out of the six matches played, in three of them there were no goals scored - three matches ended in identical 0:0 draws.
Overall, five out of the six championship teams added at least one point to their tally, while the only unlucky ones were "Skaistgirys-Zvelgaitis" who lost both of their played matches - against Vilnius Seniors and against Jonava FVK "Klevas".
The most successful round was for the already mentioned Vilnius Seniors and Kaunas "Kaunas" - they won one match each and tied the other.
After this round, Vilnius Seniors hold the first place in the table, with Utenos "Utenio Senjorai" trailing by a couple of points (the latter played two draws over the weekend), in the third position - also with two points added to their tally are the footballers of Siauliai VFK.
