Inspired by Mourinho's speech: "Man Utd" erased a two-goal deficit and defeated "Newcastle"

On Saturday at 19:30, the eighth round match took place in the English Premier League.

At "Old Trafford" stadium, Jose Mourinho's struggling "Manchester United" hosted the "Newcastle" footballers. The "Red Devils" conceded two goals at the start of the match, but inspired by Mourinho's speech after the second half, they equalized the deficit and extended the victory with a 3-2 result.

In the media, there was talk before the match that J. Mourinho's position was on the line. "United" had not won their last four matches, so another failure could have led to the manager's dismissal.

The match started dramatically - in the 7th minute, Kenedy broke through towards the opponents' penalty area and scored a great goal, putting "Magpies" ahead. Just three minutes later, Yoshinori Muto found space in the opponents' defense and increased "Newcastle's" lead to two goals.

For the "Man Utd" team, this was a huge shock - they failed to recover during the rest of the first half.

In the second half, J. Mourinho immediately played his most dangerous weapon - Marouane Fellaini. The hosts had to wait for their first goal, but Juan Mata restored hope with a penalty goal in the 70th minute, reducing the deficit to one goal.

"Man Utd" felt the "taste of blood" and in the 76th minute, the score became level - Anthony Martial found a moment to shoot near the opponents' penalty area and finally equalized the result.

Manchester's eleven regained their belief and began to press their opponents even more intensively. The 90th minute brought euphoria to "Old Trafford" stadium - Alexis Sanchez headed the ball into the "Magpies" net after Ashley Young's pass, securing a sensational victory.

"Man Utd" team recorded their fourth victory in the league's standings and moved up from the 10th position to the 8th position. "Newcastle," who wasted a two-goal lead, remain winless this season.
