Intense face-off between Chelsea and Leicester footballers - draw

Frank Lampard's return to "Stamford Bridge" stadium was not marked by the much-needed win.

In the 2nd round, London's "Chelsea" football players clashed with the "Leicester" team. Starting the game well, the "Blues" again faced difficulties in the second half - after taking control, the "Foxes" managed to equalize 1:1.

In the first season match, experiencing a painful defeat in Manchester, the "Chelsea" players started the home game on a high note - the "Leicester" team couldn't escape the hosts' pressure.

Already in the 7th minute, the "Blues" celebrated the advantage - young Mason Mount intercepted the ball near the penalty area after Wilfred Ndidi's mistake and scored a precise goal putting "Chelsea" ahead.

In the first half, the "Leicester" team had to defend for the most part, but the next 45 minutes were much more positive.

In the second half, "Chelsea" looked nothing like themselves, while "Leicester" completely took control of the match.

In the 67th minute, the score became equal, when after a corner kick, W. Ndidi headed the ball into the opponent's net, equalizing the score.

During the remaining time, "Chelsea" failed to create real scoring opportunities, while "Leicester" posed a serious threat to Kepa's goal. James Maddison had a great opportunity, but he shot too strong from two meters away from the goal.

"Chelsea" remains with just one point, while this was the second consecutive draw for the "Leicester" team.
