During the upcoming weeks, the "Milan" team can change owners. "L'Equipe" wrote that one of the most famous clubs on the Old Continent could move into the hands of the Bahrain-registered fund "Investcorp". It is said that the current owners, the American investment fund "Elliott", could receive around one billion euros for the team. According to the French media, one of the possible reasons for the sale is UEFA's investigation and attempt to establish links between the "Milan" and "Lille" teams. It is the "Ligue 1" team that has been owned by "Elliott" in the past. The Americans took control of "Milan" in 2018, when the then owner Li Yonghong faced financial difficulties.
