In one of the central matches of the Serie A round, Inter and Atalanta played out a 2:2 draw peacefully. Lautaro Martinez had put the Italian champions ahead in the first two games, but in the second half of the first half, Atalanta responded with two goals and took the lead. In the 71st minute, Edin Dzeko equalized the score for Inter, ensuring at least one point for the team. However, the hosts could have even left the game with three points, as Federico Dimarco missed a penalty kick hitting the goalpost in the 86th minute. After the draw, Inter remains in 3rd place in the standings, while Atalanta is in 5th place with 11 points.
